Michelle is currently an Assistant Manager with the SIA’s Digital Innovation Lab. She graduated from NUS with her PhD in Information Systems and Analytics, during which she studied and interviewed organizations on their digital transformation initiatives. Michelle enjoys diving deep into “disruptive” innovations to discover the wonders that technologies can create in a holistic digital ecosystem. She was also involved in several smart nation initiatives to help create a tech-inclusive society for Singapore where she uncovered the beauty of applying technologies simplistically to value add to the care provisioning landscape for the elderlies. Overall, Michelle believes that technologies are pure enablement support and will need careful strategic planning and well-meaning creative ideas to front them and derive useful outcomes.
