I support the NUS Corp Lab team in their day-to-day operational needs as well as the financial management of the Corp Lab and liaison with the lab grantor. The management of the state-of the art facilities at the Corp Lab also comes under my responsibility. I am an accountant by profession, and this is my first role as a project manager of a Corp Lab research in a University setting. This has been an exciting journey for me thus far.
The work in Corp Lab is never boring. It is filled with many challenges and loads of learning opportunities which is what I value the most. Besides this, it is rewarding to work with a team of researchers from different disciplines, from Business to Engineering, from Designers to data analysts and sleep scientists. This keeps me motivated day by day.
Outside of work, I ensure I get enough physical exercises by practising yoga and going for hikes with my family, friends and Sheltie puppy. I meditate regular as well, all to stay mentally and physically strong!
