I am a Ph.D. student of Department ECE. My research has been evolving around designing neural network backbones and self-supervised pretraining algorithms. Before my Ph.D. research, I worked extensively with image denoising, image super-resolution, and image colorization. Now, as a Ph.D. student in Prof. Shou’s group, I seek to explore the transformer-based network backbone for some downstream tasks such as object detection and video understanding. The ultimate goal of my research is to better assist our day-today life and work. Meanwhile, apart from doing experiments, I love being outdoors and taking some photos of the cultural landscape and natural views. I look forward to discovering forests, valleys, and mountains around Singapore.
