I am a research assistant in the Chronobiology and Sleep Lab (CSL), and my responsibilities include collecting and analysing data for the lab’s various research studies. I have an interdisciplinary foundation in biology and psychology from my undergraduate degree, and am keen to continue exploring the intersection of these two disciplines. Specifically, I am curious about the effects of sleep on cognitive functions like attention and memory, as well as sleep’s short-term and long-term impacts on mental health. Usually, I spend my free time playing music, watching shows or baking. Being cooped up during the pandemic revealed in me a new-found joy for the outdoors – my weekends are now often spent hiking or cycling with my friends.
