David is a faculty member in the Department of the Built Environment (DBE) at the College of the Design and Engineering, NUS. He is the Director of the Centre for Integrated Building Energy and Sustainability in the Tropics (CiBEST) in DBE. His research interest is in the area of Indoor Air Quality, Ventilation and Energy-efficiency in buildings and migration of pollutants into buildings. David is a Fellow of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ) and Board Member of the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies. He enjoys trekking in the nature reserves and travelling during his leisure time.
