The SIA Corp Lab successfully organized a mid-year workshop at the Singapore Airlines KrisLab (SIA Sports Club). Teams from both Singapore Airlines (SIA) and National University of Singapore (NUS) gathered to reflect on the accomplishments made and discuss future directions of Work Package 2.
The session focused on solutions to enhance pilot training outcomes, leveraging analytics and technology. In particular, the teams explored in-depth the design and effectiveness of workshops tailored to behaviors categorized by machine learning. They also thoroughly reviewed the mentor-mentee matching strategy, aimed at optimizing compatibility to improve outcomes.
Furthermore, the teams showcased the development of the Virtual Reality (VR) scenario for aircraft landing training, facilitated by a state-of-the-art AI virtual copilot.
This workshop underscores the SIA-NUS Corp Lab’s enduring commitment to continually delivering innovative and tailored solutions through professional teamwork and effective communication.
